History of DMIT

  • DMIT is a application (or test) in which we are using Dermatoglyphics science given by Dr. Harold Cummins and multiple intelligence theory given by Dr. Howard Gardner.
  • Initially started to study the criminal behaviour with their finger prints.
  • When lots of data was gather Dr Francis Galton thought what to do ?
  • Dermatoglyphics = Derma [Skin] + Glyphic [carving]
  • Dr. Harold Cummins published a thesis “Fingerprints, Palms and Soles” and started a branch of science called “Dermatoglyphics” .

  • Dermatoglyphics is a SCIENCE.
  • Dermatoglyphics is the study of ridge patterns of the skin. It is well established that the ridge patterns of the fingerprints are unique and help in personal identification.
  • Its reveals the congenital(by birth) links between our fingers and our inborn abilities (talents).
